Koralyze AI

Co-founded sports analytics startup turning broadcast footage into player tracking and event data

Koralyze AI is a sports analytics startup I co-founded in 2023. The platform converts the broadcast and tactical footage clubs already have into structured performance data: players are automatically detected, tracked, and classified, and match events are extracted directly from video, with analysis and opposition-scouting tools layered on top for clubs, academies, and federations across the UAE and MENA region.

As Computer Vision Engineer and co-founder, I build the data extraction engine behind the product, including the player tracking and event detection pipelines, alongside a human-in-the-loop operator interface for quality control. The stack combines a React frontend, a FastAPI backend, and a video processing pipeline serving the computer vision models.

Koralyze demonstrated live player tracking at GITEX Global 2023, took second place at the Arab IoT & AI Challenge, and completed the Khalifa Innovation Center incubation program with grant funding secured. The company partners with the UAE Sports Science & Sports Medicine Center, with football as the primary offering and basketball and volleyball in the pipeline.
